Magaifuti Elementary school is located in the northern
end of Japanese Kyushu, the gorge of the height above
sea level 213m of Fukuoka City.
It touches Saga Prefecture as a border at the Mituse pass.
And, it is school district which it possessed and which
was blessed with the wind light flattery, the nature,
Magarifuti dam of the source of Fukuoka City .
It is ，the Hattyou River where it passed through the field
Kawachi valley behind school from Mizunasi limestone
cave of Mt Ihara goes.
Many Fukuoka citizens look for coolness, and it comes and
comes in summer.
And, the figure of the many birds such as a kingfisher,a
(Japanese) bunting , a white (water) wagtail can be seen
in this pure river.
This school is small area school to 11 whole school children
the 2003-year present.

From little school, a
big dream.

Our school is established in the magarifuti in the 6th year
of Meiji (1867), and it is the school, which has history to
count 130 years at 2003.
The origin of the education is said to small-scale school.
As for this school, the education practice, which treasures
"the Magarfuti of the home", has been done by the warm
support of the people of the area.
The education material of the area is treasured and
experienced with the children learning importance.

The child who has interest to the nature and the unknown thing and who
tries to search personally.

It knows the reason of things, the child who cooperates with the friend.
The child who attains a goal with all of the members.
