The situation of our school

Hirao Junior High School is located in the central part of Fukuoka city.
There are about 730 students.
It consists of three grades, and has so classes.
Hirao Junior High School is fed by the elementary schools of Hirao and Ozasa.
Within the local we are fortunate to possess a variety of beneficial facilities, including, a Police academy, a public gymnasium, a public and private High School, monastery and also both a zoological and botanical garden. Furthermore, the area, being at the base of the Konosu mountain, is one rich in nature.
The school grounds themselves also aim to surround the students with the beauty of nature. Throughout the year a variety of flowers bloom in accordance to the seasonal changes, and the air is continually fresh with their fragrance. The school also possesses a pond, in which is an array of carp. Together these attributes aim to provide insights into the beauty and importance of nature to all students.

Development of moral and spiritual strengths, providing the student with the abilities to live and interact positively within a continually world society.

The students should become able to contribute positively towards society, respecting the rights and individuality of others.

The students should prove themselves determined to succeed in all aspects. A continual growth in emotional, spiritual and intellectual strengths should be evident whit thin each and every student.
